Golf Shop Assistant
Golf course in Jupiter, Florida is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Accounts for rounds by utilizing respective tee time software when necessary.
• Administers point of sales (POS) applications as it relates to applicable golf department charges, merchandise sales, member/guest billing.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and resolves any discrepancies as it applies to charges.
• Promotes all department offerings.
• Assists in all merchandise operations.
• Helps maintain a clean, neat and tidy Golf Shop.
• Ensures effective training is provided to new associates.
• May assist the retail buyer with merchandising and sales promotions when necessary.
• Follows set opening and closing procedures.
• Assists in all special events of the Golf Department.
• Assists all staff members in enforcing policies, procedures and services to our membership.
• Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Incorporates safe work practices.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Exhibits and maintains a professional demeanor to reflect a positive image of the club.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:
Previous country club experience preferred.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers and members.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
