Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Saint Louis, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Plays a crucial role in supporting the Head Golf Professional with the execution of daily golf operations. This position is centered on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every member and guest enjoys an outstanding golfing experience, all within a formal and refined environment that demands a professional communication style.

• Shop assistants.
• Tournaments.
• Junior golf.
• Club repair/club fitting.
• Outside services.
• Handicap system.
• Starters/player assistants.
• Player development.
• Merchandising.
• Golf instruction.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Pursue PGA membership and maintain an active classification through the PGA PGM program.
• Support the Head Golf Professional in supervising and training golf shop and outside service staff.
• Manage golfer check-in, fee collection, and facilitate smooth play on the course.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and ensure daily assignments meet club standards.
• Participate in planning and executing tournaments and weekly events, including pre and post-event tasks.
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics to enhance golfers’ skills.
• Support men’s, women’s, and junior golf programs by implementing PGA Player Development resources.
• Assist in golf car operation, practice facility, and club storage services.
• Offer club repair and fitting services.
• Manage the club’s USGA Handicap System promptly.
• Assist in inventory control of merchandise and ensure effective point-of-sale processes.
• Cultivate meaningful connections with members by actively participating in events and offering to play golf with members.
• Aid in planning and budgeting for golf operations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and image at all times.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate golf-related activities.

Compensation:
