Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Colts Neck, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will be involved in all aspects of golf course management, working directly with the Assistants and Superintendent.

This includes:
• Setting up the golf course for daily play.
• Involvement in planning of chemical and fertilizer programs.
• Application and calibration of chemicals and fertilizers.
• Participation in record keeping of labor and chemical/pesticide applications using TaskTracker and Playbooks software.
• Assistance in all cultural practices.
• Knowledge of water management throughout all playing surfaces.
• Irrigation troubleshooting and repair on Toro Lynx system with VP Satellite boxes.
• Small crew management.
• Contribution to in-house construction projects such as drainage, irrigation improvements, tree removal, or tree plantings.

Requirements:
Current enrollment in either a 2 or 4 year Turfgrass management, certificate program, or related field.
Golf course experience is not required.
Looking for self-motivated individuals that are willing to learn and work in a team atmosphere.

Compensation:
$18 – $20 per hour.
Golfing privileges.
Uniforms.
Meals provided Tuesday-Sunday.
