Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
You will be heavily engaged in all aspects of Grounds Department Operations, specifically among them:
• Calibration, application, and the associated record keeping of all plant health applications.
• Scouting for disease, weed and insect damage/pressure on turf and ornamental vegetation.
• Application of irrigation to turf and ornamentals during defined times of need, seasonally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional work environment at all times.
• Communicate pertinent information with managers, colleagues, and club staff.
• Participate in all general maintenance activities ordinarily involved in golf course and property management operations.

Requirements:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
Actively enrolled and pursing a degree from an accredited program in a field of study relevant to Business or Green Industry Management (Turf, Soils, Landscapes, etc..)
Previous experience with a commercial grounds crew or professional lawncare/landscaping company at minimum.
Golf course experience preferred.
Team player with a positive attitude and career-oriented ambitions.
Ability and willingness to work shifts on weekends and holidays as required.
Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

Compensation:
$15 – $17 per hour.
Meals provided by the club during most shifts.
Uniforms provided.
