Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Somerset, Wisconsin is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This role is a great opportunity for an assistant to become well rounded and prepare for the next step of becoming a head golf professional. The position would assist the Head Golf Professional in the management of golf operations, including the Pro Shop, and assist the golf staff in providing members and guests of the golf course with incomparable golf experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist in displaying, inventorying and selling Pro Shop merchandise.
• Operate the POS system while selling inventory, memberships, or green fees.
• Schedule members and the public play tee times.
• Supervise outside services, making sure that they follow guidelines, and the carts are clean and gassed for golfers.
• Assist in training all outside services staff.
• Assist Head Golf Professional with all tournament operation needs.
• Assist outside service staff as needed.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the golf industry.
BlueGolf experience preferred.
ForeUP experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of daily golf course operations, USGA rules, handicap, mechanics and techniques of the golf swing, and the general game of golf.

Compensation:
$25,000.00 – $28,500.00 per year.
