Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf course in Locust Valley, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities & Opportunities
• Plant health application/calibration.
• Small crew & project leadership.
• Daily course setup.
• Irrigation troubleshooting & repair.
• Mowing and rolling of playing surfaces.
• Regular goals & objectives meetings ensuring you get what you want out of your internship.
• Industry-wide connections for future career progress.
Requirements:
Turfgrass Management degree seekers or closely related field.
Turfgrass Certificate, 2-year degree, or 4-year degree all acceptable.
Compensation:
$18 per hour.
Housing.
Uniforms.
Lunch.
Tournament volunteer opportunities.
Golfing privileges.
