Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Company in Bluffton, South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Agronomy and the West Course Superintendent, will play a key role in all aspects of course management. Responsibilities include daily scheduling and crew management, irrigation maintenance and repair, fertility and plant protectant applications and record-keeping. The ideal applicant is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player who can think ahead to anticipate and solve challenges.

Requirements:
Education: 2 or 4 year degree in a turf management, agronomy, or related field.
Licensing: South Carolina commercial category 3 pesticide license, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Schedule flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays and in inclement weather.
Experience: Prior experience at a high-end private club is preferred.
Language skills: Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.
Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Team development: Capability to work with, train, and develop crew members effectively.
Other: Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year.
Two generous sign-on bonuses: One after satisfactory completion of six months of employment and another after one year.
