Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf course in Teton Village, Wyoming is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Examples of daily roles to be performed are chemical/fertilizer mixing & applications, daily mowing, hand watering, irrigation repairs, drainage/course improvement projects, vegetation management, tractor/implement work, course set-up, equipment maintenance, snow removal, grooming of Nordic/Cross-Country Ski Course, management of small crews and more. This position will excel if the individual can effectively communicate daily observations with supervisors, ask questions, and actively seek information needed for becoming an Assistant Superintendent.

Requirements:
Minimum high school GED.
2-4 year turf related degree or certificate preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years in golf maintenance or similar field.
Valid driver’s license.
Acquire a Wyoming commercial applicators license within 90 days after start date.
Maintain a professional demeanor and personal appearance.
Punctual/arrive at work on-time.
Ability to work longer hours if time sensitive jobs, tournaments, or weather demands.
Average A.I.T hours worked are 40-50+ hrs./week from May-October and 40 hrs./week from November – April.
Desire and work ethic for growth in the golf course maintenance industry.

Compensation:
$30 – $32 per hour.
