Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Amana, Iowa is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position will set the standard for guest relations and shall be involved with all aspects of daily golf operations, including but not limited to inventory management, protecting and controlling company assets, handicap management, booking tee times, point of sale system administration, tournament software, outside operations, and opening and closing procedures. Successful completion of the P.A.T and registration into the PGM Golf Management Program is strongly recommended. A desire to pursue membership into the PGA of America is a must. Successful assistants must also possess strong customer service skills, the ability to sell and market merchandise, be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task when applicable. The assistant shall be honest and trustworthy, maintaining an upbeat and charismatic personality.

Will include but not limited to:
• Respecting the requirements of the PGA of America while maintaining an active classification.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Working with money.
• Assisting with outing set-up.
• Practice facility management.
• Ensuring that our guests are well taken care of from their initial arrival to their departure.
• Strong phone skills.
• Good/Above average playing skills.
• Knowledge of the rules of golf.
• Literacy with computers.
• Experience with all Microsoft-based applications.
• Creativity to design and utilize other marketing software.
• Will set a leadership example, while being prompt, courteous, and helpful at all times.
• Help ensure an exceptional golf experience for each guest.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $20.00 per hour.
