Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
You’ll work alongside the Head Golf Professional to enhance the golf experience for our valued members and guests. You will manage daily operations, including the Pro Shop, golf cart rentals, and driving range, while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Duties:
• Assist in receiving, inventorying, and displaying new merchandise, ensuring all items are correctly tagged and priced.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, scheduling tee times, and assisting with golf cottage reservations.
• Assist the Head Professional in supervising Outside Service Staff and coordinating with the Outside Operations Manager on golf cart maintenance and practice range operations.
• Communicate caddie needs to the Caddie Master and assist with monitoring caddie performance and tournament operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in all work areas, report any equipment issues, and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed, while assisting with physical inventories and sales transactions using the point of sale system.
• Support club fitting, repair, and special order services, while maintaining accurate records of sales and rounds played.
• Provide quality individual and group instruction, while participating in the Golf Club Teaching Program and observing instructional staff.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of guest services, local attractions, and dining options to effectively assist guests and members.
• Attend scheduled employee meetings, contribute suggestions for improvement, and execute additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:
With a minimum of three years of golf industry experience and a Class A PGA Membership or enrollment in the PGA Golf Professional Training Program.
Strong communication skills, detail-oriented nature, and positive attitude
