Head Golf Professional
Golf Course in Hartwell, Georgia is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting with all golf operations at the Club, member, member guest and public play check-ins, carts, bag room, member golf programs, tournaments, outings, merchandise sales and golf shop.

Duties:
• Responsible for the supervision and training of cart and bag room attendants, outside range staff, to ensure a high level customer experience.
• Open and Closing the golf shop along with managing the operations schedule reporting to Department Head.
• Responsible for setting up and managing all tournaments with Golf Genius software.
• Prepares for all golf outings including coordinating scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, and hole assignments.
• Assist members with their GHIN handicaps and scoring Cateechee Ranch Mens, Womens and Senior Divisions on a weekly basis.
• Supervises and manages golf operations in a professional and efficient manner in the absence of Supervisor & Department Head.
• Is responsible for the pace of play and an on-time tee schedule.
• Communicates with the outside service staff for any needs required by members and guests.
• Ability to sell merchandise using the Lightspeed Retail software system, understanding of POS.
• Completes tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a comparable position, country club experience preferred.
Requires basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Golf Genius, Lighspeed Golf & Retail an advantage.
Is or is becoming a member of the PGA.
