2nd Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Houston, Texas is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide the Highest Level of Service to the membership and their guests.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Responsible for day-to-day golf operations.
• Provide Lessons for all skill levels.
• Oversee Outside Staff.
• Staff Scheduling.
• Inventory Control.
• Have knowledge of merchandise and develop selling skills.
• Assist Head Professional and other Golf Professionals with Tournaments and Outings.
• Be willing to learn, take direction, and develop skills.
• Practice and play the game with members of different groups.

Requirements:
High School Graduate (required).
Enrolled in the PGA program.
A desire to move up within the golf industry.
Basic knowledge of daily golf course operations, USGA rules, handicap, course rating system, mechanics and techniques of golf swing, and general game of golf.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Teaching/Club Fitting Experience.
Tournament Operations.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour.
