1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Gallatin, Tennessee is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Work as directed to support the mission, vision and purpose of the course.
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to members and their guests.
• Open and close the golf shop and point of sale system.
• Control and manage play, ensure members check-in, marshal the golf course, and coordinate the starting of groups.
• Manage the set-up, operation, and cleanliness of the practice facilities.
• Assist with the management of outside service staff.
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinic.
• Assist in inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf shop personnel.
• Promote club activities and services.
• Assist in the planning of events and budgeting for the golf operation.
• Work to complete the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in the PGA of America.
• Assist in managing, planning and execution of all Club golf tournaments and guest outings as directed by the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional.
• Represent the Club through participation in Tennessee PGA Section golf tournaments and educational opportunities.

Requirements:
Four-year college degree preferred.
PGA Member in good standing or actively pursuing PGA membership.
