The Golf Club, a premier private facility located in Myakka City, Florida, is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy team. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most exciting new private golf clubs in the country. Working alongside Director of Agronomy Terry Kennelly, the successful candidate will gain hands-on golf course construction and grow-in experience at a world-class facility known for its innovative agronomic practices, significant ownership investment, and commitment to exceptional course conditions. Requirements
• Certificate or associate degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field (required)
• 5+ years of relevant golf course maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of warm-season turf management
• Florida pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience and a desire for career advancement

Compensation
$80,000 – $85,000 per year.
