Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Cleburne, Texas is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This is a working supervisory position that involves a combination of duties including; supervision, maintenance and agronomic management of the golf course maintenance equipment, irrigation systems, vehicles, related buildings/facilities and perform the daily activities necessary to perform the functions of the position.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of golf course maintenance operations
• Skills in oral and written communication
• Ability to instruct others in the techniques of golf course maintenance
• Ability to service and make minor repairs to equipment and to know safety standards to prevent hazards
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mower and trimmers
• Ability to meet and work with the public in a friendly and courteous manner
• Knowledge of golfing equipment and supplies
• Ability to budget the costs of operation
• Ability to coordinate course maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of current federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting golf course operation and environmental management
• Ability to executive in terms of problem solving and decision making

Requirements
• A Valid Class C Texas driver license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
• Applicable Texas pesticide applicators license must be maintained
• Prefer Certified Golf Course Superintendent from the Golf Course Superintendents of America (GCSAA).

Compensation
$70,256.35 – $81,475.82 per year.
