Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Fremont, Ohio is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The position will oversee tournaments, golf shop services, instruction, and player development while serving as a visible ambassador of the club.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Tournament Coordination – Plan, organize, and execute a comprehensive calendar of member tournaments and events that blend competition, fun, and community. Experienced in Golf Genius and GHIN systems.
• Personality & Culture Fit – Foster an inviting and inclusive golf environment that reflects the Club’s values; build lasting member relationships through visibility, approachability, and professionalism.
• Golf Shop Services & Merchandising – Manage a first-class golf shop operation, including merchandise selection, sales, and service. Ensure inventory aligns with member preferences and seasonal needs.
• Instruction & Player Development – Provide high-quality golf instruction for all ages and skill levels, including clinics, private lessons, and specialized junior golf programming.
• Playing Ability – Maintain strong playing skills; participate in member games and events to promote engagement and enjoyment.
• Membership Retention & Engagement – Develop creative player development programs to enhance member value, improve golfer enjoyment, and strengthen retention.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a strong cultural fit, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a passion for both the traditions of the game and the enjoyment of members and guests.
PGA of America Member or Associate in good standing.
Demonstrated experience in tournament operations, instruction, and merchandising.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse membership demographics.
Proven ability to mentor juniors and grow participation in golf.
Competitive playing ability to engage members on-course.
Business management acumen with experience in budgeting, retail, and staff leadership.

Compensation:
$35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year.
