Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Linville, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will be part of the Agronomy Leadership Team to oversee the day-to-day management of the golf courses. This individual will also be involved in creating a yearly agronomic plan, planning future projects, and will be involved in all aspects of management. In this role, you will work closely with the assistant superintendent team and the superintendent to oversee the day-to-day management of the golf courses. This individual will also be involved in creating a yearly agronomic plan, planning future projects, and will be involved in all aspects of management.

Duties:
• Assist in the execution of daily planning and management of the golf courses.
• Supervise, train, and develop an ever-growing maintenance team.
• Apply and maintain records of chemical and fertilizer applications.
• Assist with irrigation repair and troubleshooting.
• Works closely with the Superintendent in preparing short-term and long-term agronomic plans.

Requirements:
Degree or certificate in agronomy or related field.
Ability to obtain an NC Pesticide license.
Ability to operate all turfgrass maintenance equipment.
Possess good communication skills, a positive attitude, and have high attention to detail.
Understanding of moisture management.
Experience or knowledge with the Spanish language is a plus.
Must possess a positive attitude and be passionate about the turf industry.
Willingness to learn, be flexible, and ability to provide feedback to employees and managers.

Compensation:
$43,000 – $55,000 per year.
