2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Osterville, Massachusetts is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Superintendent and fellow Assistants to develop a comprehensive understanding of golf course management, with a focus on leadership, communication, time management, and teamwork. This position offers strong mentorship and professional development aimed at preparing the candidate for a future role as a world-class Golf Course Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and supervise daily maintenance of the golf course and grounds.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with IPM practices.
• Conduct regular turf scouting and monitor course health.
• Assist with course set-up and tournament preparation.
• Perform and oversee irrigation repairs, adjustments, and installations.
• Support long-term agronomic planning and sustainable course management initiatives.
• Lead small crews and train team members in maintenance practices

Requirements:
Two- or four-year degree or certificate in turfgrass management or a related field.
Previous golf course maintenance experience preferred.
Possession or ability to obtain a Massachusetts pesticide applicator’s license.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a team-first mentality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation:
$65,000 per hour.
