Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Lake Orion, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Supports the Head Golf Professional and First Assistant with the day-to-day operations of the golf program, delivering high-quality customer service to members and guests. Responsibilities span instruction, tournament coordination, pro shop operations, inventory control, club repair, and golf car management. The role also includes acting as a point of contact in the absence of senior golf staff and contributing to junior golf, handicap systems, and merchandising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in golf instruction, clinics, and junior programs.
• Manage pro shop operations, including inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
• Coordinate and execute golf tournaments and events.
• Perform club repair, track service records, and manage associated billing.
• Uphold course rules, maintain handicap records, and ensure proper course marking.
• Support scheduling and administrative functions for golf operations.
• Provide marshal/starter services and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements:
1+ years of Private Golf Club experience.
Ideal candidate is working to obtain PGA Membership.
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
PGA member or registered apprentice pursuing PGA professional status.
Proficiency in golf operations, rules, handicapping, and tournament setup.
Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation:
$1,000.00 – $1,500.00 per week.
