Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Naples, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Will work under the supervision of the director of golf and head golf professional.
• Seasonal assistant: Start date mid-October to end of April. Starting dates are negotiable.
• Works closely with other key members of the professional staff on events, tee-time coordination, booking lessons, GHIN software applications, and daily routines.
• Plan, execute, and provide detailed summaries of all events the candidate manages or assists in.
• Provide members with quality golf instruction and lead clinics.
• Perform standard golf shop routines and check-in duties for members and guests. Must maintain a visible presence during working hours.
• Must be customer service oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.
• Must possess the will to learn from the professional staff and a determination to become a head golf professional or director of golf in the future.
• Must maintain high visibility with the membership.
• Be capable of functioning as a team member with a cohesive, customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proactively solve problems.
• Be ready to assist outside member services or starter when called upon.
• Golf with members and their guests when applicable.
• Playing and practicing is strongly encouraged.

Requirements:
Must have exceptional communication, computer, and customer service skills.
PGA member or enrolled in PGA apprentice program is preferred.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must have strong leadership skills.
Must demonstrate competent playing ability.
Must be well-versed in the latest technology and procedures.
Knowledge of Golf Genius, Jonas point-of-sale, Members First website and tee times or other point-of-sale and tee time software, GHIN, handicap manual, and the rules of golf.

Compensation:
$19.00 – $22.00 per hour.
