2nd Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Stockbridge, Georgia is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
An integral part of the member experience and will assist the Director of Golf and the Lead Assistant in the day-to-day operations of the golf course, golf shop, and snack bar operations. The focus will be to promote the game of golf to the member and their guests.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assists in overseeing the daily golf operations.
• Assist with training of new and existing staff.
• Assists in managing outside golf operations staff.
• Ensures golf car fleet is maintained.
• Ensures practice facility is maintained.
• Assists in managing golf shop retail staff.
• Assists in the golf shop merchandise purchasing.
• Ensures all merchandise levels are maintained.
• Ensures golf shop is kept clean and organized.
• Works with daily, monthly, and annual financial records.
• Assists with daily, monthly, and annual round counts and budgeting.
• Maintains levels of supplies for operation.
• Enforces the Rules of Golf and the guidelines and policies.
• Assists with tournament operations of all member events.
• Assists with the tournament operations of Corporate Golf Events.
• Provides golf instruction and other player development programs.
• Assists in all aspects of a Snack Bar and Beverage Cart Operation.

Requirements:
PGA member desired but not required.
Prefer a minimum candidate to be enrolled in Level I PGA/PGM education.
Previous experience with a golf facility operation.
Good computer skills to include experience in Word, Excel, and POS.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Experience in Golf Instruction to include Junior Programs and other player development programs.
Must have a driver’s license with a good MVR.

Compensation:
$15.00 – $18.00 per hour.
