Assistant Golf Professional
Private country club in Camarillo, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position works alongside the Director of Golf to deliver an exceptional golf experience for the members.

Duties:
• Outside service & golf car attendant management.
• Day-to-day tee sheet management & starter responsibilities.
• Providing golf instruction to the membership.
• Teaching junior golf programs.
• Custom club fitting and sales.
• Maintaining fiscal responsibilities.
• Creating a team culture and building a positive team environment.
• Assist in tournament operations with the Director of Golf and First Assistant.
• Assist in developing the weekly and monthly Junior, Men’s, and Ladies’ golf programming.
• The position will be required to execute other duties not listed above as assigned by the Director of Golf.

Requirements:
PGA Membership or Active Apprentice in good standing within the PGA is required.
PGA Class A Member highly preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in a private club setting highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience at a recognized green grass facility.
Understanding elements of successful golf operations, proactively serving members and guests, while providing exceptional member experiences.
College degree preferred.

Compensation:
$18 – $20 per hour.
