Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Camarillo, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assists the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of course management including pro-shop operations, tournament scheduling and completion, customer service, scheduling tee times, starter, merchandising, and food and beverage operations. Position also works with golf patrons through lessons and golf camps. Term of assignment is full-time, and may include evenings, holidays and weekends.

Duties:
• Assists the Head Golf Professional in golf course operation as directed.
• Schedules all golf-course employees.
• Assists in scheduling and implementation of golf tournaments, lessons, golf camps, tee times, golf cart staging and starters;
• Responsible for operation of cash register and sales reports.
• Participates in meetings.
• Teaching opportunities available upon experience
• Ensure a safe environment for members and guests and uphold the company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Class A PGA professional or minimum Level 2 PGA Associate.
Minimum two years of experience in golf course operations.
Ability to work well with the club membership, other employees, and other departments.
Knowledge of golf course operations, teaching skills, and scheduling.
Ability to work unsupervised at times as well as being able to work as part of a team.
Punctuality.
Friendliness and enthusiasm.
Works well under pressure.
Retail sales experience is a plus.
Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
Microsoft and Golf Genius tournament software experience.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $24.00 per hour.
