Assistant Golf Professional
Golf club in Summerfield, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Providing exceptional customer service to visiting guests.
• Creating additional revenues by actively promoting club merchandise, events, products, and programs.
• Tee-sheet management and operation of POS systems (Lightspeed).
• Active merchandise sales and inventory control.
• Monitoring both course and clubhouse for proper presentation to customers, ensuring an organized and clean workspace.
• Assisting in operations team member management, including bag drop, starter stations, cart barn, course inspections, driving range, and clinics.
• Daily reporting.
• Customer retention and data collection into Lightspeed.
• Course monitoring on grounds and via pace system.

Requirements:
Looking for a motivated individual with a desire to obtain PGA membership who has and/or is willing to learn a great deal about running a successful golf operation where technology and service are paramount in what we offer every day.
Retail experience required.
Must be familiar with aspects of the game.
Must have solid verbal and written/electronic communication skills.
Minimum 2-years’ experience working at public, semi-private, or private club.

Compensation:
$30,000.00 – $36,000.00 per year.
