Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Assist the director of golf in the golf operation.
• Maintain day-to-day operations.
• Pro shop duties.
• Assist members and guests with tee times and communication.
• Check in golfers.
• Facilitate telephone calls.
• Merchandise the golf shop.
• Train and lead the outside staff.
• Schedule and supervise outside operation, including, but not limited to cart operations personnel, starters, and marshals.
• Assist with monthly inventory, purchasing, and receiving.
• Assist with men’s, ladies’, and senior leagues.
• Assist with the tournament preparation through Golf Genius for member and non-member events.
• Oversee and manage the club’s junior golf programs and PGA Junior League.

Requirements:
Current PGA or LPGA member or associate actively pursuing membership.
2 years prior golf course experience (private club experience preferred).
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
Service and member-driven attitude.
Experience with tournament operations, knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament software.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Working knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Management.
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, the golf swing, rules of golf, and golf facility operations.
Positive personality, energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
Detail-oriented individual who is able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.

Compensation:
$60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year.
