Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Greensboro, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
To assist the Head Professional in the day to day operations of the golf course, golf shop, and snack bar operations. The focus will be to promote the game of golf to members, their guests and those that visit the community.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assists in overseeing the daily golf operations.
• Assist with training of new and existing staff.
• Assists in managing outside golf operations staff.
• Ensures golf car fleet is maintained.
• Ensures practice facility is maintained.
• Assists in managing golf shop retail staff.
• Assists in the golf shop merchandise purchasing.
• Ensures all merchandise levels are maintained.
• Ensures golf shop is kept clean and organized.
• Works with daily, monthly, and annual financial records.
• Assists with daily, monthly, and annual round counts and budgeting.
• Maintains levels of supplies for operation.
• Enforces the Rules of Golf and the guidelines and policies.
• Assists with tournament operations of all member events.
• Assists with the tournament operations of Corporate Golf Events.
• Provides golf instruction to include PGA Junior League and other player development programs.
• Assists in all aspects of a Snack Bar and Beverage Cart Operation.

Requirements:
PGA member desired but not required.
Prefer a minimum candidate to be enrolled in Level I PGA/PGM education.
Previous experience with a golf facility operation.
Good computer skills to include experience in Word, Excel, and POS.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Experience in Golf Instruction to include Junior Programs and other player development programs.
Must have a driver’s license with a good MVR.

Compensation:
$47,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
