Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the assistants and superintendent to learn all facets of maintaining a highly ranked golf course. This will include, but not limited to:
• Involvement in morning management meetings.
• Course setup.
• Mowing of turfgrass surfaces.
• Green’s moisture management.
• Fertilizer/pesticide calibration.
• Fertilizer/pesticide applications (both liquid and granular).
• Irrigation scheduling and repair.
• Drainage installation and repair.
• Equipment operation.
• Equipment maintenance (grinding reels and bedknives, setting HOC, etc.).
• Greens aerification.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled or graduate of a 2 or 4-year degree/certificate program in turfgrass management, horticulture, or agronomy-related field.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
Free on-site housing in a 3 bed/3 bath ranch-style home with updated appliances (includes cable and WiFi).
