Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Course in San Francisco, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Involves all facets of golf course management with an emphasis on irrigation, fertilizer/pesticide, and employee management under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendents. Supervises: Greenkeepers and Groundkeepers.

Requirements:
Golf course greenkeeper experience of at least one year and either a desire to obtain, in the process of obtaining, or you have already obtained the following: Two-year certificate, associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Turf Grass Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Will consider other experience/education degrees and those currently working towards a degree.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Ability to interact with Club managers, employees, members, and guests.
Must have a valid driver license and clean motor vehicle record.
Must have or able to obtain a California Pesticides License (QAL or QAC) within six months of employment.

Compensation:
$32 – $33 per hour.
