Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Create and foster a service-oriented experience for the members and their guests.
• Aid the head professional in overseeing the outside service operation.
• Work alongside the professional staff for all member and guests’ events.
• Assist the director of retail with merchandise items such as displaying, tagging, invoicing, and inventory control.
• Manage daily play and create a lasting experience on the first tee.
• Communicate golf policies to the membership regarding tee time rules, pace of play, dress code, guest expectations, etc.
• Play golf with the membership on a weekly basis, as time permits.
• Give individual or group lessons as time allows.
• Perform basic club repair and regripping of clubs.
• Represent and compete in local PGA Section and Chapter events.

Requirements:
Experience in daily golf operations, either outside services or golf shop.
Golf enthusiast with a willingness to learn the industry.
Team-oriented with a selfless attitude.
Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
