Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Big Sky, Montana is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Help oversee and manage the middle-level management, as well as the entire staff for the Director of Golf, Assistant Director, and Head Professional. The goal of the Senior Assistant is to be the go-to person in all scenarios for the Golf Professional Staff and all other Golf Operations members (44 employees). Their communication and organizational skills must be excellent and is critical to the success of the operation. There is a large role in taking responsibilities and tasks off the plate of the Director of Golf, Assistant Director, and Head Professional, so they are able to focus more on the overall member experience. Work hand in hand with Upper Management regarding discipline and positive reinforcement of the entire staff.

• Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
• Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing the club professionally with our Members and guests, and ensure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, and consistency standards.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Treat members, guests, vendors, customers, and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
• Maintain the privacy of our Members at all times.
• Event and Tournament Management.
• Leading the daily golf operation.
• Teaching and club fitting.
• Organization of camps and clinics.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
PGA Class A is required.
Experience as an Assistant Professional or Senior/1st Assistant Professional in a high-end private golf facility is preferred.
Experience in management of a large staff (44 employees) in many areas of the operation.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year.
