Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Bedford, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily golf shop operations, ensuring outstanding service and efficient processes.
• Develop and implement junior golf programs including five-week summer program for children ages 4-12.
• Take a lead or supporting role in organizing and executing all golf events, ensuring smooth operation and an enjoyable experience for participants.
• Collaborate with the Head Professional and fellow Assistant Professional to enhance member instructional opportunities.
• Utilize software technologies such as Golf Genius, Microsoft Office applications, Clubessential, and POS systems to manage operations effectively.
• Encouraged to compete in Met PGA assistant tour events and seek opportunities for continued education and advancement, with most Mondays off to accommodate this.
• Engage with members daily to foster relationships and enhance the club experience.

Requirements:
Recent PGA or LPGA member or Associate Professional in good standing.
Two- or four-year college degree preferred.
2-5 years of experience in golf shop operations, preferably at a private facility.
Proficiency in current software programs, including Golf Genius, Microsoft Office, Clubessential, and POS systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for junior golf and promoting the game of golf.

Compensation:
$55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year.
