Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Hopkinton, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Golf Professional in daily operations, including managing tee times, overseeing tournaments, and ensuring smooth course activities.
• Provide top-tier customer service by interacting with members and guests in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Help organize and run golf tournaments, outings, and special events, ensuring they are well-executed and enjoyable.
• Assist in merchandising, managing the pro shop, and offering product recommendations with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate club fittings and offer knowledgeable guidance on golf equipment.
• Collaborate with the Head Golf Professional to create an outstanding golfing experience for all.
• Help with staff scheduling and managing outside operation.

Requirements:
PGA of America Member or PGA Apprentice (or working toward certification).
Previous experience as a Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people, build relationships, and create a positive environment for members and guests.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy setting.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
Experience with managing or assisting in golf tournaments, including understanding tournament logistics, registration, scoring, and player management.
Strong proficiency in Golf Genius tournament software (or similar platforms) to manage tournament registration, scoring, and reporting efficiently. Familiarity with scheduling and running events using this software is highly preferred.
Experience in merchandising and assisting with sales in a pro shop setting, including knowledge of golf equipment and apparel.

Compensation:
$1,000.00 – $1,400.00 per week.
