Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Waterbury, Vermont is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Essential Superintendent duties include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Ensure ability to maintain course and maximum playing conditions. While remaining within budgetary guidelines.
• Order/procure necessary budgeted materials for course maintenance.
• Keep equipment in good working order and maintain as needed.
• Maintain a professional image with members, employees and the community.

Requirements:
Two year degree in turf and golf management desirable. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of diseases, pests, soils, insects, basic equipment maintenance, repair and adjustments.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations. Write brief reports and keep records.
Valid driver’s license.
Possess or ability to obtain Applicators Certificate for pesticides and other chemicals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Compensation:
$33,000 – $36,000 per year.
Golfing privileges.
