Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Milan, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Your role involves supporting the operations of a golf facility while providing exceptional customer service and assisting in various aspects of golf management.

Duties:
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to golfers, guests, and members by answering inquiries, and handling registration/check-in processes.
• Golf Operations: Assist in managing daily golf operations including managing the golf shop, organizing tournaments, and coordinating golf events.
• Instruction: Offer golf lessons to players of varying skill levels, providing guidance on technique, swing analysis, and other aspects to improve their game. Promote and enhance current junior golf programming and increase PGA Jr. League participation.
• Promote and player development (i.e. clinics, on-course, and/or individual lessons)
• Sales and Marketing: Support promotional activities, assist in marketing initiatives, and drive sales through golf shop merchandise and services.
• Tournament & League Coordination.
• Supervision of Golf Staff.

Requirements:
Registered PGA Associate working towards Class A or Class A member preferred but not required.
Previous experience in a golf-related role or relevant education in golf management.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Knowledge of golf equipment, rules, and etiquette.
Experience with golf instruction and the ability to teach players of different skill levels.
Proficiency in using golf management software and basic computer skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour.
