Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Valley Center, California is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Provides exceptional customer service to all guests while assisting with the daily operations of the golf shop. This role is responsible for guest check-ins, managing tee time reservations, retail sales, and maintaining an organized and welcoming golf shop environment.

Duties:
• Guest Services
• Greet and check in guests for their tee times with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Answer questions about tee times, course policies, and general golf-related inquiries.
• Assist guests with merchandise selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Point-of-Sale Operations
• Accurately process payments for green fees, merchandise, and other services using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance daily receipts.
• Retail Operations
• Organize and restock merchandise displays to maintain a clean and appealing golf shop.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Assist with promotional and seasonal sales efforts.
• Golf Shop Maintenance
• Ensure the golf shop is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Report any maintenance or operational issues to management.
• Knowledge of Golf
• Provide informed assistance to guests, including advice on equipment and apparel based on their needs and preferences.
• Stay updated on current golf trends, products, and course conditions.
• Team Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with the starter, player assistants, and other golf course personnel regarding guest flow and pace of play.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous experience working in a golf shop, retail, or customer service role required.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills required.
Strong knowledge of golf, including terminology, etiquette, and equipment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:
$16.50 – $18.50 per year.
