Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Work alongside our other Assistant Golf Professionals, our Golf Shop Manager, and PGA Golf Management Intern as well as other Golf Operations Staff.

A brief job description is listed below:
• 5-6 day work week in season where no outing or major Club event is scheduled.
• Provide a high level of consistent and proactive service to members and guests.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with membership and guests.
• Know and administer Trump National Colts Neck rules and guidelines.
• Assist in the execution of the Men’s & Women’s tournament program.
• Help with tournament course set-up.
• Assist the Starter with Pace of Play needs.
• Provide support and take an active role in our weekly summer junior camp.
• Assist in all aspects of the golf shop operation, including buying, selling and monthly inventory utilizing YellowDog Inventory Software.
• Updating the daily tee sheet and billing appropriate fees.
• Assist in providing world-class outing experience to local organizations.
• Enhance skills to better develop leadership qualities and traits.
• Support in promoting a positive, interactive and team-oriented atmosphere within the golf operation.
• Display knowledge and understanding of the Rules of Golf.
• Play and practice as often as schedule allows to further develop as a complete golf professional.
• Promote the game of golf.

Requirements:
This position is ideal for a passionate individual who is eager to gain experience and grow in the golf industry.
PGA Membership (or enrollment as a PGA Associate) and a bachelor’s degree are both preferred, but not required.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $20.00 per hour.
