Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Reno, Nevada is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the golf professional staff (including the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and the Assistant Golf Professionals) in the day-to-day operation of the golf shop.

Specific Duties:
• Answer golf shop telephones in a professional manner.
• Manage tee time reservation system including enforcing tee time booking policies.
• Assist with retail sales in the golf shop including offering a hands-on shopping experience for all members and guests as well as completing the sale through the Point-of-Sale system.
• Assist the Merchandiser with the upkeep and appearance of merchandise displays and merchandise.
• Assist the Merchandiser in placing special orders for merchandise for members.
• Manage tournament sign ups, demo club inventory, and golf ball inventory utilizing golf shop systems and procedures already in place.
• Communicate via radio with all golf staff members.
• Assist Golf Professional staff with any necessary tasks on a daily basis.

Requirements:
Entry-level position.
Currently registered in the PGA program preferred.
Previous golf industry experience preferred.

Compensation:
$19.00 per hour.
