Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Frankfort, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Manage our outside service team and our caddie program. This candidate will be personable in nature and have a passion for providing high levels of customer service. We are looking for an experienced leader who can work with the team to produce a professional experience here at Prestiwick. Duties to include, but not limited to caddie services, outside services, golf shop operations and tournament operations.

Duties:
• Provide high level of service to the membership and guests.
• Great organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to work as part as a team.
• Attention to detail and with strong communication skills.
• Professional presentation and appearance.
• Manage Caddie Operation.
• Hire, train, and schedule caddies.
• Maintain caddie area to supply membership needs.
• Always have enough caddies on event days.
• Attend Evans Scholar events annually.
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Clubessential POS.
• Record end of day figures.
• Assist tournament set up with Golf Genius (Scorecards, Cart Signs, Live Scoring, etc.).
• Monitor cart status and pace of play.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

Requirements:
One year of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional.
Prior experience in golf operations including: employee motivation and training; golf instruction; tournament and event management; working knowledge of golf course maintenance.
Knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, golf event software required.
Experince using CClubup is a plus as we use this program currently with our Caddie Program.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $24.00 per hour.
