Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Tasks will include water management, spray applications, aggressive cultural practices, mowing of playing surfaces and operation of all equipment on property all with one end goal, playability. Additionally, each Turf Professional will be presented opportunities to manage the entire staff and will serve as project/task leaders to help build crucial management and leadership skills under the guidance of a young, forward thinking management team. You will be exposed to various methods of sustainably producing supreme playing conditions across all surfaces while emphasizing plant and soil health.

Requirements:
Applicants must be enrolled in, or have completed a two or four-year turf/horticulture program.
Willing to train aspiring superintendents who are driven, with a strong work ethic.

Compensation:
$16 – $17 per hour.
