Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Akron, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Work with all staff to provide excellent service to all members and guests.
• Manage the staff in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Tournament Duties: Men’s, 18 Hole Ladies, Couples and Juniors.
• Offer instruction for players of all skill levels.
• Organize Junior Golf Clinics and PGA Junior League.
• Assist Golf Shop Manager with receipt and merchandising of goods in the Golf Shop ($500,000 sales annually).
• Organize and administer Monday golf outings.
• Play golf with members.
• Encouraged to participate in NOPGA Section tournaments.

Requirements:
Enrolled as a PGA Associate or PGA Member.
3 years of experience at a private club preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge and experience with Golf Genius Tournament Software.
Teaching and club fitting.

Compensation:
$44,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
