Head Golf Coach
High school in Cincinnati, Ohio is looking for a Head Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport, a commitment to athlete development, and the ability to inspire and guide a competitive team. You will be responsible for planning and executing practices, developing players’ skills, and fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the golf program, including practices, matches, and team activities.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate players to achieve their full potential both on and off the course.
• Manage assistant coaches, ensuring alignment with the program’s goals and standards.
• Design and implement training programs to develop players’ technical skills, mental strategies, and physical conditioning.
• Provide individualized feedback and instruction to improve athletes’ performance.
• Monitor players’ progress and adjust training plans as needed to meet team and individual goals.
• Develop and execute strategies for success in competitions, including match preparation and on-course tactics.
• Schedule and coordinate participation in matches and tournaments.
• Analyze performance data to inform coaching decisions and strategies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation among players, promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose.
• Organize team-building activities and events that strengthen team bonds.
• Coordinate with athletic department staff to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Communicate regularly with parents, athletes, and school administration to keep them informed about team activities and expectations.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a golf coach, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
Strong knowledge of golf techniques, training methods, and competitive strategies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate athletes of varying skill levels.
Certification in CPR, First Aid, and relevant coaching credentials preferred (we can assist with this if needed).
