Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Springboro, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This will be an 11 month (club closed in January) full time position starting February 1st, 2025. The position will split duties between the golf shop and the outside service operation to include bag staff supervision and oversight.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Golf Professional and First Assistant Golf Professional in overseeing all aspects of the golf operation.
• Responsible for providing high level service to both our member’s and guests.
• Help manage the tee sheet using Foretees Reservation Software.
• Bill all applicable charges following each day.
• Assist in managing tournament operation and daily MGA and LGA games using Golf Genius Tournament Software.
• Work with the Head Golf Professional and First Assistant Golf Professional in managing the merchandise inventory. Including rearranging displays, monthly inventory, keeping the golf shop looking professional and clean.
• Assist in running our junior golf program.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate the operations need for opening and closing the golf shop.
• Play golf with the members when our golf schedule permits.
• Assist the First Assistant Golf Professional in managing our outside service staff. This includes supervising, developing the schedule, and hiring.
• Basic Club Repair.
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance.
• Any additional duties assigned by the Head Golf Professional.

Requirements:
1-2 years private club experience Preferred but not required.
PGA Level 1 Associate or Willingness to get in the PGM Program
Bachelor’s degree from 4-year university or college preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
