Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Champaign, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Course Set-Up (Changing hole locations, moving tee markers, etc.)
• Assist with the management of a full-time staff of 5 and 6-12 seasonal staff.
• Water Greens, Tees, Fairways, Shrubs, Trees, Flowers, Seed, and Sod.
• Apply chemicals and fertilizers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems.
• Perform various cultural practices such as aeration, verticutting, rolling, etc.

Requirements:
Completed or currently enrolled in a certificate or 2-4 year turfgrass management program.
1 year of golf course maintenance experience.
Ability to obtain Illinois Pesticide Applicator License and MEWP training certificate.
Valid driver’s license.
Spanish speaking skills a plus.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $70,000 per year.

Paid Time Off – 2 weeks after first year, 3 weeks after third year
