Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Country Club, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The position is a hands-on management position working with the Keeper of the Greens, Assistant Superintendent (2) and Mechanic in all aspects of the operation. The position will assign, participate, supervise, and follow up on the daily maintenance of the golf course, practice facility, and clubhouse landscapes. He/she will develop knowledge and skills in staffing, renovation, irrigation with PVC/HDPE, budgeting, etc. while becoming a well-prepared leader to take the next step in their career.

Requirements:
Preferred is either a two or four-year degree/certificate in a turf-related field.
Previous work experience as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is preferred.

Ability to perform any task needed to meet course standards.
Highly motivated with strong work ethic and a positive can-do spirit.
Attention to detail, ability to lead, identify and assign or complete tasks.
Good oral and written communication skills with members and staff.
Must be able to multitask while adapting and changing to weather, staffing or seasonal needs.
Recognize issues and use a commonsense approach to solve problems.
Knowledge of fusing HDPE irrigation along with operating a 2 wire system.

Compensation:
$59,000 – $65,000 per year.
10 days PTO, 5 Sick Days, 2 Personal days, 8 Holidays, and Health Insurance including dental, vision and disability.
