Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Morristown, New Jersey is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Be involved in every aspect of the golf operation. This position reports to the Head Professional and will work closely with the other members of the staff. Our team works together to ensure we provide an exceptional member and guest experience through a comprehensive tournament calendar, a variety of instructional programs, award winning golf shop, and indoor performance center. In addition to assisting with all daily duties, this position will have responsibilities within tournament operations, golf instruction, junior golf programming, starting daily play, coordinating corporate and charity outings and merchandising.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide an exceptional service environment, meeting and exceeding the expectations of our members.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Head Golf Professional and professional staff.
• Assist with the Men’s, Women’s, and Junior Golf programs.
• Provide private and group instruction.
• Coordinate tournaments for both members and outside organizations
• Coordinate corporate and charity outings
• Coordinate daily play, starting, and monitoring pace of play.
• Assist in all aspects of the Golf Shop Operation, including opening, closing, and merchandising.
• Ambassador for the club and professional staff.
• Maintain a regular playing schedule with members and their guests.
• Compete in NJPGA tournaments if applicable and possible.
• Continue personal and professional growth during the off-season.
• Winter employment and teaching opportunities for the right candidate.

Requirements:
Experience working in a private club setting is preferred, but not required.
