Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Gladstone, New Jersey is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Report to the Director of Grounds and work alongside the Golf Course Superintendent to manage the daily operations of the golf courses, clubhouse and mansion grounds, and expansive property.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Scheduling, directing, and supervising the assistant superintendents, interns, and crew.
• Assessing daily playing conditions of the golf course and adjusting daily maintenance as needed.
• Assessing the agronomic needs of the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and native areas.
• Scouting for diseases and other turf problems.
• Reporting conditions and all issues to the Director of Grounds.
• Coordinating with the Highlands Course Superintendent to allocate resources between both courses.
• Assist in the planning and management of course construction and other improvement projects.

Requirements:
Two or four-year degree in turfgrass management or a related field.
At least two years as a senior assistant golf course superintendent at a private country club or high-end public golf course.
Must possess commercial fertilizer and pesticide applicator (category 3B) licenses valid in New Jersey.

Compensation:
$80,000 per year.
