Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Jersey City, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
To give a motivated student an opportunity to develop and improve their knowledge in golf course management practices, communication skills, time management, and teamwork. This will be a hands-on experience, working closely with the assistant superintendents. Interns will be exposed to all equipment, technology, and practices required to maintain a golf course at the highest level.

Responsibilities:
• Setting up the course for daily play.
• Operation of an assortment of golf course equipment consistent with maintaining championship conditions.
• Involvement in all cultural practices.
• Participation in our pesticide and fertilizer program.
• An understanding of calibrating application equipment.
• Assistance in irrigation troubleshooting and repair on Toro Lynx Irrigation System.
• Contribution with in-house improvement projects.
• Small crew management.
• Learn to apply effective hand-watering techniques.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
Free off-site housing.
Lunch.
Golf privileges.
Tournament experienced.
