Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Sandwich, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional with the day-to-day operation. Duties would consist of but not limited to overseeing the Ladies Tournament Operations & Retail Operations. Assist with the Men’s & Outside Events, assist in the Instructional Programs, including the Junior Golf Program and provide exceptional service to all members and guests. The Assistant Golf Professional will be encouraged to play golf with the membership and in Chapter/Section events. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated individual that will play an active role in the Golf Operation and eager to become a Head Golf Professional.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the day to day golf operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.
• Must be highly motivated and in pursuit of becoming a Head Golf Professional.

Tournament Operations:
• Oversee all 18 hole ladies, 9 hole ladies and mixed events; meeting with tournament chair’s to establish budgets, formats & awards.
• Assist with all Men’s & Outside events.
• Assist with selecting and purchasing awards for club tournaments.
• Assist in the coordination with tournament chairperson and food and beverage department.

Golf Shop Buyer/Manager:
• Oversee all Retail Operations.
• Meet with vendors to create an Open to Buy plan.
• Create Visual merchandise displays.
• Shipping, Receiving Merchandise for Golf Shop.
• Manage daily business operations.
• Provide exceptional service to all members & guests.
• Assist with tournament billing and accounting management.
• Sales Associate.

Teaching:
• Provided private golf lessons.
• Assist in the Instructional Programs.
• Trained on Trackman.

Junior Golf:
• Assist with Junior Golf School.

Member Services:
• Provide any and all services for members – promoting and maintaining the exceptional Ridge Club experience.

Length of Employment:
• Start Date – November 1 (flexible).

Requirements:
High School Graduate.
Previous Private Club experience preferred.
PGM Level 1 or higher in good standing preferred.

Compensation:
$800.00 – $1,000.00 per week.
