Position Overview:
Interns at Myopia Hunt Club will work as part of a team, interact with people from other departments, and build a family atmosphere that balances work and life.
An internship will allow applicants to build a vital skill set to further their turf industry career. Interns will work closely with our management team to be proficient in daily course preparation, agronomic practices, irrigation repair and maintenance, chemical/fertilizer calibration and application, record keeping, and water management.

Responsibilities include:
• Training on spraying fairways and greens.
• Water management/Hand watering.
• Fertilizer applications/calibrations.
• Managing small crews.
• Aerification.
• Small projects.
• Course set-up.
• Walk mow greens.
• Walk mow tees and collar.

Requirements:
Positive attitude and the ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Enrolled in a Turf Management program or closely related field.
Knowledge of the game of golf.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
