Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
You will be involved in a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
• Autonomous Mower Technology.
o Fleet Management of 13 Husqvarna Mowers.
• Data Collection.
o USGA GS3 Data Analysis, TDR Moisture Readings, Spiio Observations.
• Irrigation Principles.
o Development of Hand Irrigating Greens, Tees, Fairways.
o Toro Lynx Setup and Implementation.
• Drainage Projects.
o Basic Establishment of Installations.
• Chemical and Fertilizer Applications.
o All Playing Surfaces Using Boom Sprayers, Handhelds, Rotary Spreaders and Tractor Mounted.
• Management of Small Groups.
• Course Setup.
o Including Pin and Tee Placement.
• Integrated Pest Management.
o Scouting and Case Study Applications.
• Mowing Practices.
o Greens, Approaches, Tees, Fairways.

Requirements:
Must be enrolled or enrolling in a Turfgrass Management program.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
Housing: On-site dormitory facility is available that includes a full kitchen and laundry.
Meals: Lunch and dinner provided.
Golf: Available based on club schedule.
Uniforms: Supplied.
Future Employment: Outstanding individuals will be considered for future employment with the club.
